What is the difference between dofollow and nofollow backlinks?

No follow link does not follow link juice. Do follow link passes link juice.

nofollow is an HTML attribute value used to instruct some search engines that a hyperlink should not influence the link target’s ranking in the search engine’s index. It is intended to reduce the effectiveness of certain types of search engine spam, thereby improving the quality of search engine results and preventing spamdexing from occurring in the first place.


Nofollow:
Google give no authority to backlinks
They don't get any PR juice
html attribute used : <a rel"nofollow" href="url">Anchor Text</a>

Dofollow :
Google give high authority to these links.
They do get some PR juice from the page where its placed.

Do Follow links are those links which are followed by Search engines and these links will affect the Page Rank of that website while No Follow links are those links which are not followed by search engines, so in these site if we attach our URL and hyperlink it then it does not means that our link will be followed by the search engines while the links attach there can only use to draw traffic....

Dofollow are those links which pass value to the search engines and it make its search engine ranking improve.
Nofollow" provides a way for webmasters to tell search engines "Don't follow links on this page" or "Don't follow this specific link."

dofollow links are good for link building but its very difficult to get those

In Dofollow the link juice flows from one page to another and also it has great effect in SERP ranking and in Nofollow the link juice doesn't flow from onw page to another.Although google doesn't consider Nofollow tag, it has said in his policy that it will follow Nofollow and provide benefits if it is from a reputed sites such as wikipedia.I would also suggest that you must include both nofollow and dofollow links in your link building strategies as it would look natural to the search engine.
