Do Search Engines like images on a page?
Im getting the feeling from looking in the serps since Panda that search engines, especially Google like images on a page. Not too many, just 1 or 2 fast loading images relevant to the subject. Search Engines like images on a page for that you have to do image optimization and put 2 ya 3 image with alt tag in your site..its benefit on keyword density...

I am also agreeing with you. But Also really Google love fresh content and in image Google can only see alt tags. So put them in your site with alt tag.
One thing before optimizing a image that A small image can express thousands of words.

Google loves very useful images but they must have an alt attribute for them to indexed properly.

Images add value to the site and they are considered to be rather attractive for bots. I think every site owner should add some images to the site.

Not excessive tags but if your images tags are related then it is good otherwise it is not so important.

Spiders or web crawlers doesn't read Images, but if you put an alt tag to the image this will help your keywords in terms of ranking..
