This is a great backlink checking tool, try it out.

It told me there were no backlinks to my website, which I know for a fact has at least 200. When I typed in google, it told me some ridiculous number and didn't list any of the backlinks.

Hmm, weird, what site was it? If it was the teknopsis one then yes, your site has no backlinks.

It showed that I have three back links..shouldn't I have more lol?

I just figured it out I think, I believe that it shows only backlinks that have PR value to it. Im not so sure lol, it worked well with my lookforav.com but now it doesnt, oh well, the owner must be working on it still, lol.

Only 51 links to my small forum, ah well. I haven't really been working on it, they're mostly just people linking to it on their own merit.
