I believe SEO,SMO and PPC are the three best ways of promoting the website.You could also follow SEO and SMO and avoid PPC as it is a bit expensive.SEO helps your website to rank well in Search Engines while SMO plays an important role in generating huge traffic on your website through Social Networking and Social Bookmarking websites such as Facebook,Twitter,Digg,Reddit,Delicious,etc..SEO is divided into two parts depending upon the tasks carried out such as On-Page SEO and Off-Page SEO.On-Page SEO is related to the tasks which are related to the website such as Keyword Analysis,Content Management,Description Handling,etc.. while Off-Page SEO is mainly comprised of the tasks which build backlink for the website and improve ranking in Search Engines it includes tasks such as Directory Submissions,Article Submissions,Forum Postings,Blog Comments, Bookmarking,Classifieds,Press Release,etc.. all these help in building backlink and also provide quality backlink for the website.The other tasks which are equally important are Competitor Analysis,SEO tools,etc..

As we all know that SEO is all about link building high number of high quality links we get higher ranking we can achieve into the search engine results. There are many other techniques which are used like on-page SEO but the most affective strategy which i am considering for any website to get it on the top is building high quality back links by using all off-page SEO activities.

Well, actually, social media campaigns do not exactly get your keywords to the top... The only way to propel your site in the SERPs "for free" is through SEO. PPC is another option, but with PPC you pay for appearing at the top, and pay for clicks.
I think it's not fair to say that, oh, this way is the best, and that way doesn't work. The method that you choose to promote your site depends on the kind of your business, the amount of competition, your budget and goals, your prospects, etc.

Thereare lots other methods which are applied like on-page SEO but themost affectionate strategy which i am conceiving for any site to getit on the top is building high quality back links by applying alloff-page SEO actions.

I am using Guest blogging only now a days, and i am getting some of the best results. It is slow and time taking process, but trust me the most effective one

I am using article submission and blog commenting since 4 months & I'm getting a great result from this? I'm damn sure blog commenting is much effective. You just create links from high PR pages with low OBL & see the magic.

Right Article submission , Blog comment posting , bookmarking and forum posting is best and great way to make your keyword on top .

I use Bookmarking, forum posting and directories submission for website promotion and get better ranking of a website.

I mostly use forums and Facebook to promote my sites.

The only strategy for me is Hard Working, its is the only strategy which brings you on top.

But i always prefer to Do follow blog commenting with high PR and link exchange with relevant sites.
