yeah you are absolutely right. But i don't care about the ranking of Google. for me its just a number. your main target should be to increase the visitors. automatically you will also get the PR.

This is definitely true, more popular websites usually get higher PR automatically. Take Facebook for example, it currently has a PageRank of 10, which matches its popularity.
