You have to submit your website to search engine only once.Don't submit the website again and again.If you do a major change in your website, you can again submit your website to search engines.

i don't think its necessary to submit your site in the search engines for several times. Once is enough. i think very enough. but check your site in the search engine sometimes and if you see that its not appearing then submit it again.
