Hi, every body
LSA is based on the principle that words that are used in the same contexts tend to have similar meanings.

LSI was first incorporated into Google's ranking system in 2006. LSI considers pages that have many words in common to be close in meaning (semantically close. LSI indexed database will return the pages it thinks will best fit the search terms. For example if you search for cheap hotels it may give results with inexpensive hotels.

LSA is an indexing and retrieval method to identify patterns in the relationships between the terms and concepts contained in an unstructured collection of text. A key feature of LSI is its ability to extract the conceptual content of a body of text by establishing associations between those terms that occur in similar contexts. LSI is also used to perform automated document categorization.
