Thread: Can google alert me whenever I lose a google backlink?

Hi all,

As we all know we can create google alert for our site that whenever we get a google backlink google sends us an email and inform us.

Is there any way that whenever we lose a google backlink google should inform us as well?

Do you have any idea?

I have never seen this type of tool Jani, although it would be a nice one if we could find it. I know it could help you monitor those sites that are supposed to maintain your link as part of an agreement.

I never heard of such tool either.
Here you go Jani vai, you can build a FireFox add-on tool for this, and get tons of visitors. Just an idea

Hell people would pay a small amount of money and you Jani could get rich. You might have to be the agent on this one and take a cut for the idea.

You can use the Google Webmaster tool to check your updated internal and external links

Really. I don't think I even noticed that. Going to have to take a look at that one when I get back from Vacation this weekend.

No google will never alert you. But yes you can get idea from the stats of your website. Suddenly traffic down and decrease of the backlinks, changing of keyword position from page 1 to page 4,5 or page 70 .

That would be pretty useful though

thats something to think about, never took notice of it. Only if it could monitor that would have been very useful.

I doubt this type of tool exists, but its definitely a good idea for a new type of site or Google tool!

Google update backlinks in every three month, so you can check it then how much you loss or gain backlinks for your website.

yes google webmaster tool shows all internal and external backlinks...

I'll try that out, I never knew that you can check it, how about backlinks, when will they usually show?
