Thread: why does a keyword position in google change so drastically.

HI guys
can anyone tell me why does a keyword position in google change so drastically.
For example I had a particular keyword in the first page and it disappeared the very next day from the first page of google even though I have been doing SEO regularly for that site.

for some keywords I see that kind of jumps. for example for Webmaster Forum no site stays on the same place for more then a day.

I guess that could be the because of the fast indexing for those websites. Every time the site would get indexed the SERP would also be recalculated at certain point of the day.

You have to work on backlinks, thats the best you can do.

I agree. Continues building of inbound links would really help especially for high competition keywords like that.

Everyone those who are doing SEO facing the same as you said. Keyword position up and Down is regular. This effect is the matter of indexing and traffic. There is no need to worry. Keep working regularly

Hi Fiza,
You need more off page seo activities for getting stability in Ranking, try to do some more quality back links for your keywords..
