Keyword Density
What is keyword density? Is utilization of keywords in appropriate density required?

Keyword Density is
It is better to maintain your keyword density at 2-4% out of all content.The ratio of your keywords with total number of words in content.

there is better way to use the keyword density at 3-5% out of all content.
Also used your main keyword in such content is good for your website.

Keyword Density is the percentage of times a keyword or phrase appears on a web page compared to the total number of words on the page. For doing Keyword Research and to find out keywords - this tool from from Google was always the amazing one - Google Adwords: Keyword Tool. We have to use the keyword within proper keyword density (less than 5%)

good kword density is around 4%. So if you have lots of keywords it is better you do not put them on one single page. Keyword stuffing may cause some SERP sanctions to be applied to your site. (it may even be banned)

Keyword density is a combination of the number of times a keyword or a keyword phrase, in proportion with other words, appears on a Web page. The more times the keyword appears in relation to the total number of on page words, the greater the overall keyword density. The more times that other words appear, the lower the proportion of keywords, resulting in a lighter keyword density.The keyword density should be 2 to 3% used in a content.

Some say keyword density should be 2%, others 4%, I try to keep it somewhere around these numbers.

Keyword Density is explained in good and efficient way over here. There are some difference among all people over here. At the end the formula come the let me help you with the formula to calculate keyword Density. (Nkr/Tkn)*100, this is general forumula to calculate keyword Density, where Nkr is number of times you repeated a specific keyword and Tkn the total words in the analyzed text.
