What is keyword density? Is utilization of keywords in appropriate density required?

It is better to maintain your keyword density at 2-4% out of all content.
also Having your main keyword in the domain name is a very good idea to boost your rankings as well.........

there is better way to use the keyword density at 3-5% out of all content.
