Thread: Differentiate the role of directory submission and social bookmarking for increase site traffic and back links ?-Help

Hi,
I am doing work on directory submission, blog and article commenting and now I want to start doing social bookmarking but I don't have more idea about social bookmarking. I can't differentiate the different role of directory submission and social bookmarking because in both of them we submitted our site information. so tell me how social book marking is different from directory submission.
