I think a well written profile for your twitter account would be really helpful in getting more followers in my own experiences. Of course, use your main keywords there.

I too agree that Twitter does bring a lot of traffic for sites and the best thing is that its free too.

Don't forget that a catchy and interesting title can give a good impact. If someone find your tweet as something that interest them then it will be a sign of a good traffic for you. But make sure that the content values the goodness of the title otherwise it will be worthless for some members/followers who really want to read it.

To get traffic from Twitter you need to get a lot of followers, who follow you and then they can retweet your story.If your story is interesting then you might get more tweet.

I admire what you have done here. I like the part where you say you are doing this to give back but I would assume by all the comments that this is working for you as well.

Ya i agree.. if you do have almost 1000 followers than you can get a good number of visitors...
