I am not a
seo expert yet but what i have learned is i am gone share here.
1. Slow and steady wins the race!
This isn’t true just in Aesop’s tale. It’s true with promotion too. As soon as you start a website, don’t go crazy promoting it! Take it one step at a time, first, you want to actually design the website, make it catchy. Then, slowly start introducing your website to promotional forums and search engines.
2. All that glitters is not gold!
Yes, it’s true! And this applies to two things; automated submissions and javaScript, Ruby on Rails, and some heavy PHP Scripts. First, for the submissions. Well, it’s best to do this on your own. The automated submitters like 123SubmitMySite.com, stuff like that, will make your website look like spam. They take the first few words of your website and submit it with those keywords. Bad idea. Do it all on your own! Next, the fancy scripts. Javascript, Ruby on Rails, and even some massive PHP scripts are awesome, and they may look nice to users, but search engines will just skip over them, meaning YOU can lose hits! You really don’t want that.
3. Be a Leader (and a follower!)
This is true as well. Lead your website, make it as best as possible, submit it as professionally as you can, but please, don’t just be a leader. Advertise your site on websites which search engines often visit. You can find this out by typing in their name in a search engine like Google. If their name doesn’t appear there don’t advertise on that website. If it does, look professional when advertising on that site. Keep in mind, that, if you say untrue things in your advertisement, you’ll regret it.
And finally, I recommend NOT putting ads on your site!
I hope this helps whoever reads it with their website.
