i think the best way to get one way links is to make comments in the forums, write 10 articles and submit it various article directories, do some directory submissions and also ask for 3 way links with the theme related sites..

Link building is if nothing else time consuming but blog commenting , article submissions , and using social sites i have found to work well along with the other great advice mentioned above.

Link building is the process of creating back links or inbound links by means to ones own website. Article submission, blog commenting, press release, online group posting, hub page and press release are just some of the link building techniques. Just make sure to create links from relevant and DoFollow sites because Google gives more value on them.

if you don't want any web direcotry submission,
try to create great content or give away something free to your visitors,

You might also search for backlink list and dofollow list, it's probably not worthwhile to post links on noFollow sites that search engines don't follow, which are getting to become the norm. You want to get a plugin that identifies doFollow links, firefox might be the best seo browser.

You can find the Angela Edwards backing guides that go to like $6 a month on WF. Unfortunately a backlink list's popularity is self defeating, target sites are alerted by new activity, battening down the hatches to cut out the link spam, making your links go away.

Link building plays a vital role to get high pr and to get lot of visitors for the site. To get good back links we should do Article submission, Forum posting, Blog commenting, Press release, Social bookmarking, classified ad submission. These are all help a lot to get the back links. IMO one way link is the best when compared this reciprocal links.....

you can use various ways for building back links like social book marking, directory submission, artcle submission, forum posting and blog commenting etc. All are very effective and can produce good results for your site in a quick time too.
