Bing search engine optimization

Bing has better conversion ratio as compared to Google. However, Bing gets low traffic share as compared to Google, but if you get some click from Bing then it will turn in lead ( on most of the occasions).

The best thing about Bing is that it has a better user interface and gives you a feel of FRESHNESS every single day.

Instead of focusing your optimization entirely on Google, one must concentrate on gaining rankings on other search engines including Bing and Yahoo.

Google Click Fraud rate (on PPC) is far much higher as compared to Bing/Yahoo.

Bing gives preference to few parameters listed below:-

1) Domain Age - Bing gives preference to the age of your domain. Google also gives preference to domain age.

2) On-Page/Off-Page Optimization - Bing gives more preference to On-Page optimization. However, Google gives more preference to off-page optimization. It is best to carefullly do on-page optimization and make sure your keyword density does not go overboard.

Among various on-page optimization factors, TITLE is the most important one. If your keywords are listed in the TITLE then you will get higher rankings on both Google and Bing.

yaa nice point really the main thing is their quality of your back links and the quality (in this case meaning originality) of your on-site content. Title tags are important, but metag keyword tags are not. hope that helps...

Thanks! And as far as I know, Bing algorithm is more straightforward. links/anchor texts = ranking for that anchor text. And Bing like an older domain, unique content, good neighborhood and relevant text in key HTML tags.

Nice points and it still shows that the Bing or the same MSN search engine is largely depending on the on page elements to give the websites proper rankings.

Nice points. I think after Bing start getting Yahoo as part of it, people would start focussing more on it. Currently its really little traffic for most.

I think if bing and yahoo will merge, Bing and yahoo have the edge to compete with google.

yaa nice points dailygloble i agree with your points but i think for Bing and Google optimization is more or less the same. I think, we need to get relevant links, add proper meta tags and do some Internet marketing properly, if we want to rank high on Bing & Google!!

Don't know if Bing has a better conversion rate than Google. As I am not using Bing as my advertising partner.

Some people that are getting top rankings on yahoo, are doing great on bing. They both, differ not too much.

Honestly speaking, I really don't get any good amount of organic traffic from Bing. Google still brings the most traffic to my site.

I don't know whether Bing has better conversion ratio than Google but yes I agree that Bing gives much preference to on page optimization. Anyway thanks for sharing the tips!

I still focus on getting traffic at Google, Google has a wider range of audience that it could easily get the users worldwide... Yahoo and Bing could be an alternative search engine for search results..
