Commenting on no-follow blogs
Has anyone found that commenting on no-follow blogs is a good way of increasing traffic? I get paid by a few people to do it for them and decided to try it myself but did not notice a significant increase in traffic.

If you are upto getting traffic by commenting on blogs you have to do it on popular blogs. And the trick is to be #1 or #2 commenter. If you can't be No 1 or 2 chances very slim to have traffic from comments.

What is the rationale behind it?
Please don't hate me for being more than what you can ever hope to be. It's really not my fault.

How do you get paid by doing these links and comments? I am very interested to know how this works. Thanks Rachel.

You do not get paid as such but it is a way of generating traffic to your blog which will then hopefully mean you get more advert clicks etc.
A couple of me pay me to do the commenting for them, leaving their details rather than mine on the comment. I get paid various amounts depending on the person sometimes only 10 cents a comment and sometimes 50 cents a comment.Free Cash Money Gifts - Great GPT, loads of contests, trusted admin, pays to Paypal

I did one test on a nofollow blog. It was a blog about UFC fighting. I put my name for my URL as "Top 10 UFC Knockouts" and then it linked back to my poker site. I did this once for an experiment and I found 20 clicks in just one day. Of course the bounce rate was 100% but I guess if your site is highly relevant to the blog then you'll get traffic.

Commenting on blog will always work, whether it's follow or no-follow. The main thing behind it is the relevant comment and should be on the topic.

Yes some people pay for it. And some visitors visit the website through comment links. Commenting on no follow is useless it helps nothing in ranking but yes few traffic. If the comment is good, visitors like to visit the website added in the comment. No one want to click on spam comments.
