How much time needs to learn PHP ?

Basically it depends on how much you are capable to learn. It also depends on the type of tutorial you are following to learn PHP.

with w3schools you can learn simple PHP but if you want to do sonething just make a simple project to learn PHP.

Few tips to learn PHP
1. Download PHP help file from php.net
2. Download Notepad++ a free PHP editor.
3. Download XAMPP webserver and install on your computer.
4. Now start with a small project.

Dear Friend,
if you want to learn PHP you can start basic of PHP within 15 days but if you want to advance PHP Developer you expend more then more time for learning.

You need to understand how the php function works, this is good to practice in the local host server. I think to get a thorough understanding of php first you should acquire theoretical knowledge and then practice those yourself. So the more you practice the more your learn new things. In this regards, it's an endless process to learn.

One who are familiar with some of the languages won't take much time, six to seven days will be enough to know the basics and after that it all depends on the methods you are using and how far you want to take your experience.
