Just read at w3 schools and serve that as a guide in creating web page. There are many simple codes their to used as a starter.

HTML stand for hyper text markup language.it is a scripting language not a programming language. it is used to create static web page not
a dynamic page. In html many tag used like title,head,body,and so on.In html two types tags are used like singular tag, and companion tag.
In html we can create table and forms.

I will do following things before making a web page by HTML
1. I will learn about HTML from w3schools
2. I will learn about CSS from w3schools
3. I will learn about website design tool e.g. Dreamweaver
4. Learn about FTP and server
5. Learn About open source like wordpress
6. Learn about HTTP and Browser

These things are basic but these are not limited.

For creating web pages you must use the html tags like Anchor tag, img src tag, input tag, and all others tags. you also used Java script for dynamic web page creation.
