I think templates can be alright for websites that are meant to be generic, but for anything professional, you really need to do some custom design work (or hire someone to do it).

Web templates are good for people who can't design for themselves or can't afford to hire someone. Personally I've not used them as I prefer to design my sites by myself. I've used a couple for clients but that's because it was the design they wanted so I couldn't argue.

Website templates are for those peoples needs a ready made and no time or knowledge to do custom templates, this is not unique because several people already used the design..

I think web design templates is great. Easy to use an of course it's beautiful NOt all of us can design a good website so it's better to take the templates
