Im wondering though, there are so many questions.

Will Google stop supporting FireFox as much as it does right now?
Will this Chrome browser affect rankings and SERPS?
Will there be some spyware stuff Google can use to even further learn about us?
Will this new browser come with Google algorithm changes and new AdSense/AdWords features?

Well, im sure I'll know soon.

    1. I don't think google will stop supporting FF. Chrome will probably be just a side thing...and for more advanced users since it's Open Source.
    2. This can't be possible because then it would seem like google is trying to market its browser.
    3. Google won't do this...and since the browser is open source, you will always have the option to modify it the way you want it to be.
    4. This can be possible since it will make everyone's life much easier.

Nothing like that, It's just another web browser buddy with great features.

Chrome will regularly keep on downloading a list of harmful sites to fight harmful malwares and phishing attacks. And, whatever will run in a tab will be filtered so that it doesn't affect the computer machine.
