Thread: Google launches Knol

After several months of testing, Google has finally launched the knowledge-sharing site called Knol where people can share their opinions and views about a specific topic like in Wikipedia.

wiki can be edited by any worldwide user but knol is for one specific user

It has a feature - Moderated Collaboration - With this feature, any reader can make suggested edits to a knol article which the author may then choose to accept, reject, or modify before these contributions become visible to the public.

Wow, thats awesome, Google just doesnt stop expanding its empire does it? Well, you know what this means for us SEOers right? More ways to think of getting backlinks from Google .

I also checked it but I am not sure if it can beat wikipedia.
