What is Google index ?

Can anybody explain about index.

I am waiting for your good tips.

Technically... Google's index means something else and is more related to Database indexing and sorting.

However, in Search Engine Marketing terms.... it simply means Google has a copy of your page in its database... Every time user passes a query it will display your page in the results (query related to your targeted keyword)

If your website is following and fulfilling all the guidelines, Google will index all your pages... Else, It will display only those that follow the guidelines.

google index is a list of all websites google is aware of.
First thing you do is to get your site get indexed by Google.
