yaa it's good for sharing to other in SB site like Twitter allow only 140 character then tinny url is help full..

bit.ly is the best! the shortest url ever invented. :P

i think it's redirection of you long URL it's use for easy to distribute as they don’t get broken into pieces in mail messages some sb site restricted only some character if you want share url then use it!!!
