Google sandbox is a filter that Google places on new sites which prevent new sites rank for keyword phrases. The idea behind this effect is to discourage spam sites from rising quickly to top positions by quickly building huge number of backlinks through unethical paid links and other sorts of spam methods and also avoid these spam sites repeating the same process after being banned for violation of Google terms.

The sandbox typically provides a tightly-controlled set of resources for guest programs to run in, such as scratch space on disk and memory. Network access, the ability to inspect the host system or read from input devices is usually disallowed or heavily restricted. In this sense, sandboxes are a specific example of virtualization.

All though the effectiveness of these methods is not guaranteed, some people claim they work.
Method One: Join Google Adwords or Adsense Programs. Google seems to have different spiders for adsense / adwords and general site crawling but it is widely believed that subscribing to the adsense/adwords programs gets your pages spidered in minutes even by its search related spiders.
Method Two:The most widely used, this method involves purchasing an old domain for its longevity and back links.

It is not a physical thing but its a place where websites reside when they are caught doing activities against G TOS.

There is a sandbox, that's for sure, and it's quite logical when you judge the site by its results and reputation, though I may understand no one likes it

The Google Sandbox is basically a time period that websites must wait in order to start ranking for high competitive keywords. It's a filter system that Google places on new websites which have little to no trust.

The Google Sandbox Effectis a theory used to explain why newly-registered domains or domains with frequent ownership changes rank poorly in Google Search Engine Results Pages (SERPS). In other words new websites are put into a “sandbox” or a holding area and have their search ratings on hold until they can prove worthy of ranking.

Google Sandbox is restriction on new sites dur to this is new site does not receive good rankings for its most important keywords and keyword phrases for a ceratin period of time. Even with good content, many inbound links, a new website may still adversely affected by the Sandbox effect.
