Last year I have bought 10 Seagate Hard Disks. 4 of them died after 10 hours. They all had the same series and similar part numbers.
So why this is happening?
They just were made with problems from the factory! Hard disk companies the last 10 years start to lower their quality ESPECIALLY on the CHEAPER models. These cheap models have a high rate of problems. So I decided not to buy the chearer models nor the RECYCLED ones. Recycled drives have older recycled parts put inside new drives! That's why the are usually the cheapest ones.
Another reason is the electrical problems. You should have a UPS bought with your PC, in order to keep your PC long time living.
Another reason is if you pull the plug while your computer is working.
Another reason is heat! Not near sun or heaters.
Another reason is 24hours use. Many people use their computer all day.
Another reason is BAD PSU.
Another reason is drop. Have you dropped your computer?
Hope this will help you understand what went wrong and if it was your fault!
