Thread: Cell phones related to Cancer.

A recent study has proved, that excessive use of cell phones can lead to cancer. Is it more dangerous than smoking? Both are silent killers.

Yes i have heard about this but i don't think it can be happen.

It must be because of the radiation. TV has radiation as well as computer, we are too expose with the radiations that can cause sickness so we must stay from it as much as possible.

i read about it when i was researching on effects of cell phone on humans. I heard that excess exposure of the body to cell phone increases the risk of getting cancer.

Very true, I have also heard of it. Even WHO has released paper on this

And in the same article I read, there are many more times the studies that show that there is very low risk of cancer. It also goes on to say that many of the scientists are still skeptical about 2 studies versus many more that haven't found a significant link. More people are killed in car wrecks due to cell phones than brain tumors from cell phones. It is an urban myth and is perpetuated by the way they are gathering the data. They are asking people that have tumors about their cell phone usage but that can be skewed because people with a traumatic tumor may misrepresent or misinterpret the amount of cell phone usage. The type of radio waves emitted from cell phones is low ionizing, unlike that of the sun, tanning beds, microwaves, etc. There is very little risk at all of any tumors growing from massive cell phone use. The data is there.

yes,you have right about cel phones and cancer.Is bad even when you sleep near a cel phone

don't keep the phone with you all the time.

Nice one! You have a very good point there! Actually the issue is not yet conclusive and not yet proven, it was still a theory, so there's no way we should be scared. Though being cautious doesn't hurt.

I think that it does effect us in some way and it can give to some individuals cancer, but that is still an unknown procedure.

This is impossible for few, since it has become a way of life.
