Thread: Talkative guest trouble

A desperate German woman called emergency services to rescue her after a friend visited her and talked for 30 hours straight. The guest rambled on about personal problems and became increasingly intoxicated until the 48-year-old dialled the emergency hotline.

After an unbelievable 30 hours and failed attempts to encourage the guest to leave last Saturday, the woman did not know what else to do but to call an ambulance. But when the paramedics refused to carry the guest out of the apartment, the woman called the police, who picked up the friend and drove her home.

Guest would face no criminal charges

I had problems like that in my first marriage for 11 years, hence divorced as I had a whole load of nasty and unwanted guests I had to slave around after and I had no say at all who could visit my home or who couldn't, evne if those people despised me. I am glad she phoned the police in the end!

I probably would have had a bad headache and be in the hospital myself

wow! talking for 30 hours means a big headache. i would just leave the house if that happened to me because i'm usually a soft spoken person and not a fan of talkitive people.
