Growing a pumpkin requires a bit of work and it make take you a few tries to get it right, but it is definitely worth trying. You need to grow your pumpkins in well drained, medium texture soil. Pumpkins grow best in slightly alkaline soil but can also grow is slightly acidic soil. You can get seeds from your local garden center and you can grow your pumpkins in a pot or in the ground.

    Tips

    1. Remove diseased pumpkins from the plant immediately
    2. It is best to water only in the morning
    3. Water only the roots and vines
