How to Get Traffic From Twitter

Getting traffic from Twitter isn't that hard. This suggestions might help:

Make your profile attractive putting a nice picture, nice bio etc.
Interaction: Interact with people. If someone sends a comment, reply and such.
Username: Pick an username targetted to your niche.
Put your blog/website url link in your profile
Find people who have the same interest
Displays your RSS Feed to Twitter
Be active

Those are some very nice tips as usual mastermind. I would also put in to add twitter buttons to your blogs and a twitthis button to every post. A lot of plugins can really help a lot with becoming a good twitter.

Great tips. All of them are really useful to get traffic from Twitter. Aside from that, I think it's also a good idea if you don't just put the links of your site in your updates but instead put some useful resources on them to help other members and they will stick following you... Actually, I become curious to visit the profile of a member, if I find their updates useful and interesting for me..

If you are planning to use twitter as your traffic source then having numerous followers is the key. Things mastermind have listed are some of the things you can do to attract someone to follow you.

Another thing that will surely increase your followers, and so far has been so effective for me, is you follow them and they'll eventually follow you. You twit theirs and they'll twit yours.

I just want to update this to do list (this is for the twitter beginner only)

Make your profile attractive putting a genuine picture(should not be you website logo or celebrity picture.), nice bio(try to put your own bio rather then putting your company info ) etc.
Interaction: Interact with people. If someone sends a comment, reply and such.
Username: Pick an username (it should be genuine and should not looking automated.).
Put your blog/website url link in your profile (very inportant)
Find people who have the same interest
Displays your RSS Feed to Twitter
Be active
be versatile , not just tweets related to your services.

I have been in twitter for the past few months and it is really amazing to experience its ever growing popularity. I have manage to make my profile attractive which has helped me a lot in multiple ways to promote brand value of my organization.

good tips but in my experience with twitter if you update informative content on your twitter account your follower increases and you got more traffic from twitter, mastermind also share great tips....
