make sure to get the most important information at the begining of the article and make sure it has a catchy title or most people will skip it, not read it.

Those are some nice tips.

I like how they tell you to mention the topic of your article in first paragraph. Many bloggers don't do that. I always mention the topic in the last line if not before.

The article has some good tips, but something that is missing is over use of the word "I". When the first sentence of the first paragraph starts with "I" - that reflects a lack of professionalism. When writing a professional grade article, try to never use the word "I".

If you must use the word "I" at the start of a sentence, a couple of words in front of it. Example - The other day, "I" was walking through a store and thought about a ....

@Kev - you are right buddy. We should all try to avoid the word "I" most of the times unless you are righting on your personal blog.
