these are all some great tips but i am sure we know a lot of them. It's very hard to get something popular on digg...i think the most important thing is that you have a lot of friends.

I believe making friends is one of the most important things, its hard work but it definitely helps a lot if your in the front even once!

digg front page is all about networking. for sure you will need great and unique content and catchy title, but in order to get to front page, you will need your story dugg certain number of times within specific time period. if your story gets 2000 digg over 2 year period, chances are its not gonna make it to the front page. but if you get 200 diggs in less than 24 hours, then there is a good chance you will be on the front page.
