There are a lot of local business directories out there... some are free, some are paid, some are both...


Which do you use for your own business or your clients? and why?

you would need to look up Free Directories into google and find them that way.
There are just too many out there.
We also use a program that find them for us.

Local listings and classified are best way to get listed in free way.

for local business directories you need to take help of Google. Moreover put your business on Google map/Google local listing this really helps. Why not try some classifieds as well for local promotion.

Google Map is great to local business.

If your business or website's target are the local people, then free local business directories or free local business directories with reciprocal are more beneficial..

If I talk about client, generally i use free directories and if i talk about own company, i prefer both free and paid. I use paid directories because we got the approval within 7 days.
