I have sent to DMoz too, you have just to wait 2-6 months. You can't do anything. Don't send twice, it bight be misunderstood as spamming.

Maybe, it depents on many things about the time.
The fastest I have seen is 6 weeks. The slowest is 5,5 months.
The biggest factor is the category you choose. Each category goes to a different team inside dmoz.
There are teams that always have tooo much work to do....
Other teams review site very slowly....
Other teams have so little requests, that review very fast.
All these I know them from a person that works there....
I have thought to tell him to give my website a priority....but they are very strict about their procedure...

To be honest you really need a few things..A nice looking site that isn't brand new, and some luck! It really does depend on the category as well..How active are the moderators who handle that category, how popular is it, and how many other submissions are they probably getting in it.
