Read Submission guidelines of ODP and submit accordingly.

After submit forget about your submission. That will be good for your health.

Is there any paid service for submission?

submit it ,then waiting for approving , and keep your site running well .

just follow their guidelines for submission! there is not an "expert job"!

you have to wait. and also you can't do anything else!!
if your contents are original and of high standard and it looks good then before submitting you should take close look to the categories, then sub categories (if required) then submit your site.
i think it may take time but will not be rejected.
