Thread: Banners advertising on your website?

It is helpful to have your own banner adverts on your website with the proper codes available for others to use and take?

Banner advertise also helps you a lot to send the targeted traffic to your site, if you have the network site hosted on different ips, than the site you think is good traffic oriented site, you can place the banner of your main site to that site and you will get the targeted visitors to your site.

As I have applied this technique for my site. If your site is based on the theme that is most demanded in the market then it will be more beneficial to you to get the traffic by placing the banner ad on that site.

i don't think that with Banners advertising is helpful for site ranking. you can get some traffic or lead but not ranking. if you have any information related to this question then please inform to me.

Banners help promote your sites well and can bring your sites a considerable traffic.

But too many banners on a website is not a good idea. It distracts website's viewers.

Personally, I don't like those websites because I feel that they put money of banner advertising higher than the comfort of website's viewers.

Banner is a good way to attract traffic. But it should be reasonably placed and designed unless you want the vistor feel unpleasant about it.
I saw some sites with too much elaborate banners and they feel incredulous..

well banner advertisement is very useful but in some cases u cant get that much users which u r expecting, like for example i share my experience that once my cousin have an sms messages portal which have 1500-2000 unique visitors and when i placed my banner on his website i got not more then 100-150 unique visitors so i prefer SEO

It could be useful but unless you are providing an incentive, I don't think that many people would be willing to put your banner up.
