How i increase traffic ???
please give me suggestions. . . .

Just update your site each day with valuable and nice content
and build a lot of backlinks for your site.
Thats all if you want to get free traffic.
Or you can also buy traffic from adwords and other programs if you want
fast exposure of your site.

I have just began my blog. I wish to promote the services that I can provide to many of my readers out there. I wish to know how the whole thing works here. I am very much alien to the concept of blogs and marketing it. Please tell me what should be done to increase traffic.

Try to build backlinks as much as you can but use only white hat methods through article writing and submissions, directory submissions, and reciprocal or one way linking. Now, a days, social bookmarking is so famous, you can use twitter or facebook or other social networking sites. wish u better luck..

But only focusing on offpage marketing and not updating site daily will bring very bad results.

Read and then read some more. read about what people saying about traffic in this forum and other forums, plus read google articles on how to increase traffic.

Yes try to update your site with new fresh and unique content all the time. Ping Feed Ping and RSS sites. Make Press Releases and submit articles. Create an seo link wheel and join forums announcing yourself to create a good impression.

Blog commenting is very powerful. Not only do you get traffic from people visiting from your comments but you also build solid relevant backlinks over time which means more traffic from Google etc.
