Just use simple and correct grammar , language while submitting and never never submit your site in wrong category and also don't submit your site more than one after you submit it correctly.
I also have a site indexed in dmoz and as per my experience dmoz index websites with many articles and only if the grammar is correct.
So work to build some good articles and reputation to your site before submitting it to dmoz.science and math : Mathematics

We do not advise if a suggested site is used or not used.
It can take from a few days to a few years for a site to be reviewed for a possible listing. That's because we set out to build categories for end users and we are not interested in any value a list might give to a site. Please don't re-submit, that can delay a review and it can get you banned as spam, you could already have suffered that fate. Did you read the guidelines about submitting?

Multiple submissions of the same or related sites may result in the exclusion and/or deletion of those and all affiliated sites. My opinions are my own and do not represent DMOZ directory, staff or other editors.

submit and wait and wait and wait. just do it one time and walk away. you can't rush the people at the dmoz and if you do they end up deleting all of your enteries. patience is really what you need.

Getting listed in DMOZ is a big help for a website's PR and SERP, but then it takes time, and they don't accept fake or duplicate submissions.

There is an easy way to get listed fast, you can become an DMOZ editor for the category you have applied.
Just find the category that best suits you, at the bottom look for the link "Volunteer to edit this category." and follow the steps.
