Those of you who manually post on blogs to get backlinks, how many comments per day, week, or month do you feel are enough to be help you site with pr and or traffic.


What strategy are you using in regard to forum posting that has proven to have build traffic and or pagerank, For example I read were someone recommended you answer 12 forum post a day and start one new thread a day.

I'd say that they do it a lot and they do it repetitively most of the time. On the daily basis, I weed out and disapprove more than 20 comments on my blog. those that comment that only leave links. I'd say that they have to do that much as there aren't that much blog owners who allows such useless comments.

I'd say that don't think about link building or getting traffic from forums... just be interactive and be part of the community and for sure, specially if your helpful, traffic will come along... link juice is just a bonus.

I did 20 blog comments a day. Just also make sure that you are commenting on dofollow blogs.

Concerning blog commenting, usually my effort is focused towards dofollow blogs. However, it is not easy to get those backlinks nowadays because webmasters are getting wary of your actually intention even though the idea is just to made simple comments. For forum signatures method, it might be a good idea to actively participate in high traffic forums whereby there's a high chance for visitors to arrive you if you have catchy keywords to get their attention.

Foe me,seo via commenting is not worth of time since it's not the target keyword that on the anchor test .

i post about total 30-40 forums and blog comment posts each day.

It don't matter for me either i open new thread or reply in forums.

Is blog commenting a kind of white hat SEO technique? I think blog commenting is blue hat SEO, isn't it?

I don't comment on blogs just for the backlinks, I comment on blogs because I like the blog and the article that I am commenting on.

Blog commenting can be helpful if its cached by Google or if the blog that your going to comment has a good source of traffic.

It's like the Archiver for Google, where it takes a snapshot of your web site and caches (stores) it and allows people to view it if they wish on your search results for the website.

first of all i would like to say that the post no bolgs are of no use because now a days their is hardly any blog will give do follow backs . . . All the forum gives no follow back links . . .
So ,try to do more of forum posting . . .

I will think 20 to 30 posts and 5 to 8 blog commenting is enough ..but you should maintain a quality in that ..personally i believe that it is better to post 5 informative post rather than just posting garbage on the forum just for the sake of signature links
