Techinical Problems with websites not good for business
According to a recent nationwide survey from Guidance, 36% of online shoppers ran into problems with e-commerce sites when buying gifts during this holiday season 2008.
Common problems experienced by people were:
Slow web site : 34%
Crashed web site: 21%
Could not complete purchase: 19%
Site was temporarily down: 16%
Purchase didn’t go through: 10%
I think problems like these should be solved with utmost importance, otherwise it will pretty much ruin the whole business.Free Classified Ads & BUSINESS/PROFESSIONAL SOCIAL NETWORK

site uptime is a big issue. if we would look at popular sites, they hardly have any downtime. think a properly working functional site is a key for success.

The "could not complete" one is horrible, it immediately turns potential customers off and then you lose business and become a target of negative word-of-mouth.

This is not good from business point of view if any website going under mentioned problems. Any visitor or costumer become frustrated if they are sending any gift or product from a website and not complete it in time.

Having all those problems turns people off and the people might never go to the website ever again. I think that people and companies who have e-commerce sites need to spend some of their money on making sure that the website and order process is working as it should.
