How to build a local search engine?

If any one know that please send this useful information how can we create local search engine.

I don’t about that, I’m also interested to know; I searched a lot but not found any useful information.

Why do you want to create this ?

i would go to rubygems.org & search for available gems or github.com for available plugins.

What do you mean by local search engine exactly. I can't get your question much. If you want to search any thing for any country, say Espain, simply type Google.es, for UK, type Google.co.uk, and similarly for every country you can search locally.

Why you want to build local search engine? Don't you trust on Google Local Search results? Anyhow post your query along with budget and detail requirements. Hopefully you will find someone here who can build it for you.

local listing is mainly for only develop your business in the local areas, when we are going to start any new business we should have to mentioned all the our business details in that listing sites. This is called as local listing...., and thanks a lot for posting this kind of post it gives me so much useful information so, please keep posting such of threads.
