Default Stocks vs. Real Estate: Which is better investment?

The problem with this comparison is that it ignores the effort of managing property. If you have spent hours every week managing your property, you really compare a passive investment in an investment that requires work and is not really fair.

I have some knowledge on stocks but, earlier my cousin had invested in stocks and had a setback. I know that you need to be updated in that but - What is the best option from both?

hmmm I am biased to Real Estate. I think it's fast investment as well. One thing I did before (a good friend's advice) is I bought a foreclosure property, did some enhancements and fixings in the house and sold it.
I did pretty good money from it

Both investments are good, real estate investment always takes time to grow while with the help of stocks you can earn daily profit.

I think Stocks ans Real estate both are great way to investment but As per my opinion, Real estate is better then Stocks because there are no risk for investment in real estate and stocks in invest have more risky.

Real estate assets are typically very expensive in comparison to other widely-available investment instruments (such as stocks or bonds). Only rarely will real estate investors pay the entire amount of the purchase price of a property in cash. Usually, a large portion of the purchase price will be financed using some sort of financial instrument or debt, such as a mortgage loan collateralize by the property itself. The amount of the purchase price financed by debt is referred to as leverage. The amount financed by the investor's own capital, through cash or other asset transfers, is referred to as equity.

I am partial to real estate. I think investment is faster too. Both are good investments, real estate investment always has time to grow, while with the help of the reserves can benefit day.

In my opinion investing in real estate business is much better then investing in stock market.Because real estate is the only business which always provide profitable return on the investment and that is why more people have started investing in real estate business nowadays..!!

I will prefer to real estate business more.Because this business is getting success day by day and there is very less risk if you have good knowledge about this. moreover rates of the properties are going to increase day by day so i think it will be more profitable to have real estate business at present.
