Default Make Money With Dropship Store Business

    What is Dropship?

In usual business environment you have a store or warehouse where you have products, and you sell from there. In dropship you don't store anything yourself. The vendor stores all the items, when you need any item you order from them and they will ship it for you to your customer or to you.

    How its used

Lot of people use the dropship for selling products on EBay. Many have their own website, and sell from there.

    What to watch

Most important thing in dropship is return policy. If a customer returns a product, you have to know if the dropship company will take it back or not. If they don't you will loose that money. Also look at the profit margins you are getting; compare among the dropship companies.

    List of US Dropship Companies

Here is a list of companies that offer dropship. Before you sign up with them I would suggest do your research on them.

Does anybody have a drop ship website? I was thinking of opening a e-commerce site for long time now; this may be a good thing to start with.

People are paying too much on gas these days. If you can have a blog with all the techniques on how to save gas, that would be great as well. Just my 2 cents

Besides the forum I own www.speedjunkyz.com as well. We sell automotive parts & accessories. We currently use several distributors that drop ship for us. From my experience so far it is a VERY tough market. The prices I pay for the item are for the most part the same price or more that you can find the item for on ebay or from someone who uses wholesale. My focus at this point is customer service and negotiating prices with my distributors which in most cases has worked well. But dropshippment is NOT always better nor cheaper.

I currently use ProStores and I would NOT recommend them either. ProStores accounts are set up with log in upon log in upon log in just to check your site or email - VERY INCONVENIENT.... They have hidden fees as well as charge you everytime you make a sale in addition they have NO customer service !! .... BEWARE OF THEM !!! We are currently in the process of switching servers which isn't as easy as it may seem.

Thats for advice, I am glad I finally found somebody with experience on this.

I probably gonna be looking at high-end shoes/clothing/accessories. So far I have no luck finding any dropshipper that does high-end products.

I will stay away from proStore.

I had looked at prostores a while back as well for my wifes Amazon selling busines. We are working on setting up a site selling different products using Zencart. The thing about Prostores that I didn't like right off the bat is that it is an ebay company. They always charge tons of fees for everything. We do a good business on Amazon and I love the fact we can post with no upfront fees. Another good point about using them is the ability to promote our sites when we ship our products. We send a thank you letter that contains our sites web addresses.

Some of these drop shippers may work out for us as well. I am going to check into them and see what I can find out about them.

I think its very important to promote our own company as they ship for us. Otherwise we are basically working hard for branding the dropshipper. Good you brought this point. I have to check this out as I sign up. Next year I am hoping to start a site.

Correct, besides making money for you it is a good way to promote and cross promote your online sites and business.

when i went through the phase of dropshipping & wholesale,
    I used a site called http://www.wholesalecentral.com
LOTS of websites listed there. Just keep a look out for
those that require a min. purchase. Just meaning they
require you to order in bulk as opposed to piece by piece.
There are also some sites there that let you dropship for
them.. I also got turned on to this site http://hsshopping.com.
I have never ordered anything from them, so be cautious.

Wholesalecentral seem to have tons of products. Do you have to buy the products or they would do dropship?

up at the top of the page, it will list a few companies
for you that dropship.. yes there is alot of information
    on that site!
