    Default General Business Tips..

    Great Business tips...

    1) Logos should be simple. A good logo can be drawn on a peice of paper from mind in about 15 seconds.

    2) Plan, Plan, Plan and Plan some more. A lot of business jump striaght into a market. This is a fatal mistake that leads to the failure of so many business. Before you commit, ask yourself do you know the exact market that you are targeting? Does this fit into your business and marketing plan?

    3) Do not try to go it alone. There is a wealth of resources available to business owners. Speak to your local Chamber of Commerce and visit websites

    4) Focus on the parts of your business that you can control. It would be ineffective to worry about external variables outside your business all day. Instead focus on the parts of your business that you can change and adapt to change.

    5) Include your businesses name, logo and contact details on all your business documents. This will help to build brand recognition.

    6) Always have business cards. A lot of business do not bother with business cards. This is a mistake that could lead to a loss of business or a loss of a valuable contact.

    7) Think about your business legal structure. Would you benefit from becoming a LTD company? Speak to an accountant to see how operating in different structures would benefit your business.

    8) Tell as many people as possible about your business. Friends, family, neighbors, everyone. Word of mouth marketing is invaluable.

    9) Encourage customers to give testimonials, and display them in a predominant place on your website.

    10) Controversial one maybe - Never make a business out of a hobby. In business you will need times where you take time out and relax. If you have taken away that hobby it can become demotivating. Would be interesting to hear your thoughts on this one.

Keep following it... That will really useful to you..!!

    Hello Friends

1)As much as possible, deal with any item of mail (and email) once only. Action it, bin it, or - but only if absolutely necessary - file it for future reference in a clearly labelled file. If you're working under pressure, prioritise the incoming mail that needs to be actioned, and deal with less important matters later in the day.
2)To minimise errors, work on one thing at a time. Use a filing drawer or folder rack to reduce the amount of workspace occupied by other papers on your desk, so that you don't get sidetracked by things you haven't planned for or prioritised.
3)Don't waste time perfecting things that don't have to be perfect. 'Excellence' means doing the best that you can in the time available. We can all excel without being perfect. After you finish something, check it through once then move on to the next task.
4)Plan some time each and every week to be invested in marketing your business. You must reach out to customers old and new; and you must invite them to do business with you. This is working on the business, and it is at least as important as anything you do while working in the business.
5)If you do all the above things but still can't work out where your time is going, you may need to chart your time use to see how you really spend it.
6)This is quite easy and takes just a few minutes a day for one or two weeks. List your principal activities down the left column of a table, and your work days across the top row. Jot in the approximate amount of time you've spent on each activity, each time you stop doing it.
7)Tally the times up at the end of the week, and see whether the proportions of time you actually spent meets your desired targets.

    Have a nice day

    1. Target the Un-Targeted:
Know your customers thoroughly and target those needs that are unseen by your competitors.

eBay is a bright example. eBay was quick to recognize peoples' desire to earn economic profits by trading second-hand products. eBay realized the need for a platform where such buyers and sellers could meet and trade. ECommerce technologies helped eBay to create the required platform required and the rest is history.

When you are new to online business- Start Small but Start Right.

    2. Strong Business Planning:
Have complete knowledge of your revenue source, break-even duration and other important strategic details from the beginning, and decide on the milestones that are to be achieved. You should know the right moment to expand your business and plan for future sources of revenue.

The Internet business has a cruel history of bringing about disastrous changes at phenomenal speed. Be prepared to face such upheavals and have plans in place to manage such turbulent times.

    3. Business Friendly ECommerce Software:
Always choose software that is easy to manage and allows you to focus on your core business activities.

Choose an ECommerce solution that fits your business requirements. Analyze ECommerce software in terms of its scalability, security and the amount of customization allowed.

Invest in a solution that not only meets your present requirements, but also is capable of accommodating your future business needs.

    4. Create a Web Store with a Difference:
Visual memory is more enduring than textual memory. Correct branding is important for the success of your online business. Increase your brand recall by creating an estore that is in tune with the likes and dislikes of your targeted customers.

Learn more about your customers and create unique branding by using distinct color combinations, site layout and innovative logo. Attractive display of your domain name can also play an important role in branding your online store.

Be different (but not vague) in order to create a positive appeal in the minds of your customers for achieving esuccess.

    5. Make your “Hot Sellers” most Visible:
Attract a customer and advertise your USP first.

Create your estore in such a manner that when a visitor leaves your online store, s/he is aware of your specialty even if they do not intend on purchasing those products.

To clarify: Let us assume you are an online flower vendor specializing in selling fresh red roses. Create your online storefront in a way that when a visitor leaves your storefront, s/he is aware about your specialty even though he may not have seen the Red Roses section. So the next time the visitor intends to buy red roses, they will be very likely to recall your storefront.

Highlight your best product/service first in your estore.

    Hi

Here are some pieces of advice that I wish someone had given to me before I launched my first venture.

    1. Focus. Focus. Focus.
Many first-time entrepreneurs feel the need to jump at every “opportunity” they come across. Opportunities are often wolves in sheep’s clothing. Avoid getting side-tracked. Juggling multiple ventures will spread you thin and limit both your effectiveness and productivity. Do one thing perfectly, not 10 things poorly. If you feel the need to jump onto another project, that might mean something about your original concept.
    2. Know what you do. Do what you know.
Don’t start a business simply because it seems sexy or boasts large hypothetical profit margins and returns. Do what you love. Businesses built around your strengths and talents will have a greater chance of success. It’s not only important to create a profitable business, it’s also important that you’re happy managing and growing it day in and day out. If your heart isn’t in it, you will not be successful.
    3. Say it in 30 seconds or don’t say it at all.
From a chance encounter with an investor to a curious customer, always be ready to pitch your business. State your mission, service and goals in a clear and concise manner. Fit the pitch to the person. Less is always more.
    4. Know what you know, what you don’t know and who knows what you don’t.
No one knows everything, so don’t come off as a know-it-all. Surround yourself with advisors and mentors who will nurture you to become a better leader and businessman. Find successful, knowledgeable individuals with whom you share common interests and mutual business goals that see value in working with you for the long-term.
    5. Act like a startup.
Forget about fancy offices, fast cars and fat expense accounts. Your wallet is your company’s life-blood. Practice and perfect the art of being frugal. Watch every dollar and triple-check every expense. Maintain a low overhead and manage your cash flow effectively.

    Hello friends

First of all, you have to get an idea of a business startup that will help you fulfill your dreams. In order to achieve your goals you will have to keep in mind all the desired constituents your business should possess. Definitely you will not be likely to experience success without keeping in mind a clear picture of something you are willing to create in the future. Just imagine that you will spend a lot of money and time on something you don’t even have an idea of. Or you will even waste your time by changing your goals often and by listening to different people. Shortly speaking, you have to clarify the idea of a successful business in your mind.
For this reason, take a piece of paper and write down a short plan of your future enterprise. Never let yourself start something new without having a clear plan in your mind. This will be likely to turn out a waste of time if you don’t clarify the details at the beginning. In case you are not aware of the most important constituents your future enterprise has to possess, perform the so-called internet research. In other words, there is a significant supply of free business plan templates. You are able to download one of them to your computer and according to it create your own unique plan of development a new business. Such plan will give you a great advantage in future as it will give the direct way to success.
Another important tip will involve the structure of your future business. Make sure you know already what type of business you are going to create. Now we are talking about its size. So pick up the appropriate title, name and structure depending on the size of business you will have.
Find out what type of funding you will be able to provide and for this reason locate financial sources for your enterprise and make sure everything is organized in the proper way. For instance, small businesses obtain funding through small loans issued by the local banks. Some of the companies though are trying to look for private investments through a venture capitalist. Obviously, the mentioned type of financing is more typical of large businesses. The main point is to start a business and only afterwards decide what type of financing is more suitable for you.

    Thanks for all friends

If you are anything like me , you like your business but hate selling to people. I am not a natural salesman and have to remember that if I don’t sell my services, my business will close and I am back working for somebody else.
