Thread: .info Or .net??

I am planning to buy some domains but i can't register the name .com...so out of .info or. net which one shall i use Which one looks more user friendly?? I plan to buy .net but whats the view of other members

yes definitely .net is more better than .info , You can go on for .net. All the best mate.

I can express the point that .NET looks to be better option than .INFO domain name.
.Net is considered as a good alternative to .COM.

Obv the first choice is .com

after that comes .net .org

then comes .info .me .co

if it is country specific then use that : example .co.uk .in etc

I'd also go for .net unless the website was content was focused on information. In Europe many companies use .info for websites not as much in North America.

The info domain is now cheap by namecheap.com
So when you have not many money you can take .info

Obviously, I would prefer for .com first and then my second preference would be . net or .org.

.Net domain will be better than .INfo without doubt.

I agree with the previous posters. I buy .info domains all the time because they are dirt cheap, approx.20+ a month but I use all of them for testing purposes...For rankings and credibility, i would always go for .net over .info.

.NET has a good value in the market...if it is a only information site like a wiki or something...you could use .info
