Thread: Is it true that .info doesn't rank in search engine?

Just wondering if it's hard to be on the top rank of the search engine when you are using .info extension. Thanks!

.info ranks just as good as a .com. It's just a preference.

Its always true that .info domains takes more time to index rather than .com domains. But its not true that these dont rank well, there are various sites that are in the top of Google for .info extension. Like search google info from Google search engine, you will get .info domains in the top of list.

.info domain names perform very well and there are number of domains, which are in good ranking.

On google .info will rank as good as any other domain names. Good content helps for good position.
On Yahoo .com seems to come have preference.

Always keep in your mind, use that domain which is your most profitable according to the country and .info or .me these domains are very tough to rank on the search engine.

It's a Myth you can rank anything by building right amount of powerful backlinks and if the website has quality content.

Our main site is on .info extension and it was doing so good that is our main focus now, so not to worry, if you have seen some nice keyword .info domain that is still available then go for it.
