It's just a matter of luck if you got listed in Dmoz.

luck ? the editors there are all crap can't even figure out differences between a good site and bad one......

they must be playing if even no. come i accept it if odd i will reject it lol

i posted that smiley because i was guessing a little sarcastic way i think you should get it now ?

I think this delay of accepting the web resources happened due to manually addition to the directory.

Any delay is because we are not a listing service and we do not set out to list as many of the suggested sites as possible. Suggested sites are just that...suggestions. An editor can use as many or as few or none of the suggestions. But unless the site is unlistable, ie it does not conform to our guidelines, then it is not rejected. It waits for an editor who chooses to use the suggestions to help build up the category. Sometimes few if any of the suggestions are even worth looking at, depends on which part of the directory one is working.

Some editors rarely work the categories, they spend their time doing other tasks the directory needs to keep working, new applications, editor tools etc.

I have just spent a lot of time working through the sites returning 404's to see if I can find another link that works and also working on the sites where we have been offered updates for a site. This can often be because the URL has changed and we use robots to find some sites where the URL may have changed but we don't find them all that way and rely on webmasters who sites are listed to inform us of any change. We deal with these more promptly than suggestions.

My blog is also listed in dmoz directory. Dmoz not listed the copy-paste blog and the blog on the topic making money or loan. Make a personal blog, travelogue or tutorial blog. Make unique content. Regular update your blog. After adding 20-30 posts, submit your blog to dmoz. From my experience, the dmoz editors are not taking any bribe. Even they not reply to the webmasters via contact form in dmoz. BTW I have also one auto-blog. Because I have no time to update the posts. I have more than 30 blogs. So sometimes I forgetted the name of my blogs also.
