Better you should read the guide lines of DMOZ, because it approves high quality sites having excellent content. If your site full fill the requirements of DMOZ then there is no problem in your site to approve.

I think you need to wait longer than that before resubmitting, 3 times in 5 months does seem spammy!

Please wait indefinitely. The guidelines that one agrees to when one suggests a site say that one must not re-submit AT ALL. Doing so can be detrimental to it getting a review because the new submission overwrites the date stamp on the old one and an editor looking to clear up a backlog may then simply ignore it AND it may get classed as spam and banned for ever. DMOZ does not lose sites, all sites that get through the spam filters are reviewed and wait for that review, which can be from a few days to a few years, but they are reviewed and then either listed or rejected. And no we don't tell you if a site has been listed or rejected, these are SUGGESTIONS, it is not a listing service for site owners.

You have to wait until DMOZ gets "around" to accepting your listing in their directory, the norm now is up nine months to get accepted into DMOZ and if the submission into DMOZ is not up to their standards then they will not list you into their directory. That is the way it is now, and one you submit, you do no re-submit again into DMOZ, you have to wait. Those that have the patience will eventually get into DMOZ, but if you bug them, then the possibility of getting denied is high.

It is not about being bugged, but mutiple submissions will usually at best delay a review for listing, a new submission overwrites the date stamp and puts it to the bottom of the list and at worst get zapped and blocked as spam. Sorry too 9 months is not long enough to wait, it can only be a few days but it can also be years. There is nothing more one can do at DMOZ to get a site listed after it has been submitted,go and promote it elsewhere and oh, quality for us is UNIQUE CONTENT,not how good a site it is or has the latest gizmos, just UNIQUE content not so overloaded with advertising the content gets lost.
