DMoz on Sale?
There is a rumor that the owners of Best of the Web Directory are in talks to buy Dmoz from AOL and that a deal could be reached fairly soon.
This is a rumor and it was posted on shoemoney blog. Anybody else heard anything about it?Free Classified Ads & BUSINESS/PROFESSIONAL SOCIAL NETWORK

Its a crap for sure, but it got a huge brand established; thats what is it's selling point. Even anybody spend 10M to buy it, it would worth the money.
