i have actually stopped using directory software because i think it is better if you just do it manually.

There are some free softwares you could use pal. I guess you already have done the deal. Be careful next time.

Chances are that they actually did submit to 4000 but only 1119 of them accepted it, its the kind of results you get from automatic submission.

Dosent matter if its a dead link. Okay I have been on the net for a long time.
I do not like submitters at all. You can use them to get your site listed quick but do you want your site listed or your keywords to rank?
Work on quality backlinks, spend your money there instead of a submitter software, besides that you can get free software all over the place to submit your website.
Study seo and make your site quality the work on backlinks. This is a tried and true method, one good backlink and your indexed with all the search engines and you dont have to fill out all the information they require.
