What is an Oracle Database?
Database link is a connection between two databases forming a one database. It is commonly known as a pointer. Right? Why do we use database links?

Ya we use database links to link two databases. Well, it helps us to filter out some specific results that comes after combining two different databases results.

Oracle Database is an RDMS(Relational Database Management System).Database is collection of interrelated data and a system which manage the database is called the Database Management System.When two or more dbms releted to each other,are called RDBMS.

Oracle database conventions refer to defined groups of object ownership that is Oracle database installations traditionally came with a default schema called SCOTT. After the installation process has set up the sample tables, the user can log into the database with the user name scott and the password tiger.
